Brunswick County Public Utilities is seeking proposals for seasonal landscape maintenance at multiple wastewater dispersal sites across the county. - Government Buyer: Brunswick County Public Utilities - Scope of Work: - Mowing, trimming, edging, and litter/debris removal at wastewater dispersal locations - Application of herbicides along property perimeters and around spray heads, with care to avoid erosion-prone areas - Work must be performed around infrastructure obstacles (signposts, valve boxes, vaults, pipes, bollards, mailboxes, etc.) - Maintenance cycles required four times per year (February–November), with additional as-needed services possible - Vegetation must be maintained at a maximum height of four inches - Contractor Requirements: - Provide all labor and equipment - Comply with all laws and regulations regarding herbicide use - Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications - Provide Material Safety Data Sheets upon request - Begin services within ten days of contract execution and complete each cycle in one continuous effort per location - Locations include: Clemmons Track, Power Line ROW at UOC, Mercer Mill, IP Site, Shallotte WWTP, and OIB WWTP - Contract Term: One year with two automatic one-year renewal options - The county may negotiate additional services after award
Description
Brunswick County is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified entities to perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and herbicide application at various wastewater dispersal locations throughout the county. The maintenance is to be performed four times per year from February through November, with additional as-needed services during other months. The scope includes litter removal, trimming around infrastructure, herbicide application along property perimeters avoiding erosion-prone areas, and notification of any damages. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and provide Material Safety Data Sheets upon request.
