Description

This project involves the removal and replacement of 4-inch and 6-inch thick Portland Cement Concrete (P.C.C.) sidewalks and ADA curb ramps compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). The scope includes removal and replacement of existing sidewalks, driveways, curb ramps, installation of detectable warning tiles at ADA curb ramps, sidewalk curbs, P.C.C. curb and gutter removal and replacement, and reshaping disturbed areas with topsoil, fertilizing, sodding, and watering. Work must comply with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa. The contract requires work to commence on or after July 22, 2026, and be completed within 30 calendar days or by August 31, 2026, with liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays.
