The Naval History and Heritage Command, under the Department of the Navy and NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, is seeking a contractor to process and reconcile its oral history collections at the Washington Navy Yard. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy - Naval History and Heritage Command - NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk - Scope of Work: - Archival processing and digital reconciliation of oral history collections - Inventory of approximately 1,800 CDs, 619 boxes of assorted media, and 555 digital oral histories - Updating metadata in the Content Manager system - Handling and processing of classified materials up to Top Secret - Security Requirement: - Personnel must possess a current Top Secret security clearance (per DD254) - Contract Structure: - Firm fixed price - Base period of one year with an additional one-year option period - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; this is a service-only procurement - Notable Requirements: - Experience with archival processing and digital media reconciliation - Ability to manage classified materials and update digital records

Description

This requirement is for a contractor to process and consolidate oral histories for the Naval History and Heritage Command at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. in accordance with the Performance Work Statement included within this solicitation. This requirement is a small business set-aside, so only businesses that are small in the NAICS provided shall submit quotes in response to this solicitation.

The contractor selected for this requirement shall have a current Top Secret security clearance (see the attached DD254). All quotes in response to this solicitation shall be emailed to Contract Specialist Ashley Steele at ashley.n.steele8.civ@us.navy.mil. Only electronic submissions shall be accepted.
