Description
The City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department at the Dempsey E. Benton Water Treatment Plant plans to replace Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) media in 8 filter tubs (filters 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4A, and 4B) that have been in service for 9 years. Each filter tub contains 880 cubic feet of media, totaling 7,040 cubic feet. The contractor will be responsible for the installation of new media and the proper disposal of the old media removed from the filters. The solicitation includes a detailed scope of services in Section 4 of the RFP document.
