Description

Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price type delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-23-G-0001 with Mission Systems Davenport Inc. Davenport, IA for the procurement of supplies and services necessary to identify, repair, and replace Onboard Oxygen Generating Systems (OBOGS)  and subsystems of the F/A-18, EA-18G, T-6, V-22 and T-45, aircraft on behalf of the U.S. Navy (USN) and U.S. Air Force (USAF).

This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the sole user and maintainer of OBOGS, only Mission Systems Davenport Inc. possesses the particular engineering capability, data, resources, expertise, and intricate knowledge necessary to satisfy the Government’s minimum requirements.

Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement with a capability statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
