The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking qualified sources for enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering Services to support the Directorate of Technology, Innovation, and Engineering (TIE). - Government Buyer: - Department of Labor (DOL) - Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) - Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) - Services Requested: - Comprehensive AI engineering services covering the full lifecycle of AI systems - Key technical areas include: - Large Language Model (LLM) integration and deployment in FedRAMP environments - Context engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline design - Agentic AI orchestration and multimodal AI capabilities - MLOps, DevSecOps, and adversarial AI security testing - Responsible AI governance, HITL (Human-in-the-Loop) design, and AI incident response - FedRAMP cloud AI deployment and AI-specific Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) production - Full-stack AI application development and three-environment AI testing - Knowledge base refresh management, business continuity, and COOP planning - AI use-case inventory support, data engineering, and AI governance program support - UI/UX design, AI helpdesk support, innovation and research assessments, and transition-in/out support - Unique Requirements: - Performance-based service delivery - Comprehensive support for AI system lifecycle, including governance, security, and operational continuity - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; market research only - Contract Structure: - Labor hour contract - 6-month base period with three 12-month option periods (total 42 months) - New program start with no incumbent

Description

The U.S. DOL OCIO, within the OASAM, is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing enterprise AI Engineering Services in support of the Directorate of Technology, Innovation, and Engineering (TIE). DOL anticipates a requirement for performance-based AI engineering, development, operations, governance, and support services covering the full lifecycle of AI systems across the Department.

Responses are strictly voluntary, will not be returned, and the Government will not pay for information provided. Do not submit proprietary information.
