This opportunity seeks a Construction Manager (CM) for the rehabilitation of the Natural Science Building at SUNY Purchase (Phase 1): - Government Buyer: - State University Construction Fund (SUCF) Procurement Division - Project located at SUNY College at Purchase, Westchester, NY - Scope of Work: - Construction Phase CM Agency services only (no design/pre-construction) - Renovation of approximately 26,000 SF on the ground level and 10,000 SF on upper floors - Full replacement of interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems - Replacement of laboratory casework, exhaust systems, roof, and elevator - Hazardous materials abatement - Creation of new program spaces for Biology, Environmental Studies, and Math/Computer Science departments - New mechanical, telecommunication, chemical stockroom, and waste storage rooms - Services Requested: - General construction management - Marketing and bidding support - Meetings and project coordination - M/WBE, SDVOB, and EEO compliance services - Scheduling, labor, and safety oversight - Project Labor Agreement (PLA) services - Quality assurance and warranty/guarantee period services - Notable Requirements: - 3% SDVOB goal, 5% MBE goal, 5% WBE goal - Firms must register on SUCF website to access RFQ and submit qualifications - Estimated Construction Budget: $31,382,000 - No specific OEMs or vendors named; opportunity is for construction management services only

Description

The State University Construction Fund is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide Construction Phase Construction Manager (CM) Agency services for the Rehabilitate Natural Science Building – Phase 1 project at the State University of New York College at Purchase. The project involves a full phased renovation of the Natural Science Building, including replacement of interior finishes, MEP systems, laboratory casework, roof, elevator, and hazardous materials abatement. Phase 1 focuses on renovating the entire ground level and parts of the upper floors to accommodate various academic departments and new mechanical spaces. Construction Phase services include general services, marketing and bidding, meetings, M/WBE, SDVOB and EEO services, scheduling, labor and safety responsibilities, PLA services, quality assurance, and warranty services.
