Description

The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) intends to enter into a sole source contract with Bio Rad Laboratories Inc. for the provision of a Geenius System, including CPU, reader, printer, barcode scanner, microcode, literature binder, and single-use qualitative immunoassay reagent kits, test-specific consumables, and equipment to detect and differentiate antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2. The system must be FDA-approved and in accordance with CDC guidelines. The contract is estimated at $225,000 over five years and will be used by the Public Health Laboratory.
