This opportunity is for maintenance and repair services of material handling vehicles at Submarine Development Squadron Five, managed by the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (U.S. Navy). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, Submarine Development Squadron Five (SDSF) - Products/Services Requested: - Maintenance and repair services for 9 material handling vehicles (5 tractors, 4 trailers) - Scheduled preventative maintenance (semiannual oil changes, annual DOT inspection support) - Unscheduled repairs and 'over and above' work as authorized - Maintenance for additional vehicles as may be added by government option - Quantities: - 12 scheduled preventative maintenance services per year (base and each option year) - 12 'over and above' work authorizations per year (base and each option year) - 12 maintenance services for additional vehicles per year (base and each option year) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Certified technicians required - Maintenance records must be maintained - Warranty provisions required - Award evaluation based on technical capability, delivery, proximity to site, preventive maintenance checklists, price, and past performance - Firm-fixed-price contract with a one-year base period and two one-year option periods - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Opportunity is set aside for small businesses

Description

Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for the maintenance and repair of material handing vehicles at Submarine Development Squadron Five, Silverdale, Washington as a 100% total small business set aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.   See the attached soliciation and Performance Work Statement (PWS) for details.

In accordance with RFO 12.203, the Government will select the most advantageous offer based on the following evaluation factors: technical including delivery date, quoter's proximity to Submarine Development Squadron Five (SDSF), 7111 Sealine Road, Silverdale, WA 98315 per section 2.2 of the PWS, quoter's preventive maintenance checklists per section 3.2 of the PWS, price, and past performance in no order of relative importance.

The Government anticipates an award resulting from this solicitation on or about two (2) weeks following the solicitation closing due date, inclusive of any solicitation amendment(s).  POC for this action is Roger Bowers (roger.s.bowers.civ@us.navy.mil).
