Description

The Solicitation is for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to correct hazardous electrical conditions and install new dedicated convenience outlet circuits serving the Watch Room, Mess Deck, Galley, COM Room, and associated attic spaces.  Work should eliminate existing mis-wired conditions, resolve recurring breaker trips, and provide safe, code-compliant electrical service for mission-essential equipment.  The facility is experiencing repeated circuit breaker trips and loss of power due to improperly wired and overloaded circuits originating from a junction box located in the Mess Deck CMU wall. Investigation revealed unsafe voltage conditions, including 240V supplied to 110V receptacles, absence of neutral and grounding conductors, evidence of arcing, and shared circuits supplying lighting and convenience outlets.  Immediate temporary disconnect actions were taken for safety; permanent corrective action is required.

Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.  Site visits will be available on Monday, July 6, 2026 and Tuesday, July 7, 2026.  To coordinate please reach out to: MK1 Joshua Florez, 707-875-3596, or 760-702-2343.
