Honeywell Vindicator IDS Upgrade and Installation at Shaw AFB

The U.S. Air Force at Shaw Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to upgrade the Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) in Building 1130, including AFCENT/A2 and STO areas. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Shaw Air Force Base (FA4803 20 CONS LGCA) - OEM Highlight: - Honeywell (VINDICATOR) is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer for IDS components - Products Requested: - Replacement and installation of Honeywell Vindicator IDS, Access Control System (ACS), and Badge Manager systems - Key equipment includes: - AE-V3 IDS and ACS panels - Sensors, keypads, duress buttons, electric strikes, credential readers (with and without keypad), motion sensors, alarm contacts, custom enclosures, batteries, site commander/workstations, firmware upgrades, field panel wire, multistate EOL resistors, VICADS IP cameras, view/record licenses, LCD display - Quantities range from 1 to 100 units per item - Integration with existing base defense systems required - Services Requested: - Full scope: procurement, installation, training, logistics support, management, operations, supervision - Employees must be certified on Honeywell VINDICATOR systems and qualified for electrical/electronic troubleshooting, repair, testing, diagnostics, and programming - Unique Requirements: - All equipment must be DoD-approved and comply with ICD 705, IDS GEN ADMIN, and CMD requirements - Integration with existing Honeywell VINDICATOR system and base defense systems - Custom enclosures and SCIF-compliant alarm contacts specified - Period of Performance: - 90 calendar days from contract award, subject to change for long lead times; changes require Contracting Officer approval

Description

Shaw AFB B1130 AFCENT A2 and STO Vindicator Intrustion Detection System (IDS) Upgrade. Contractor shall procure and install DoD approved IDS equipment that complies with ICD 705, IDS GEN ADMIN, and the CMD. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, management, training, installation, operations, supervision, logistics support and other items as defined in this SOW. Contractor shall provide employees certified on Honeywell VINDICATOR and qualified to perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting, repair, testing, diagnostics, and programming into the current Honeywell VINDICATOR system at Bldg. 1130 AFCENT/A2. All work will be IAW attached Statement of Work (SOW)

Site Visit: 14 July 2026, at 4:00 PM EST location B1130 parking lot.

OFFEROR'S ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO PLAN ACCORDINGLY (1-1.5 HRS) FOR BASE AND FACILITY ACCESS PROCESS. SITE VISIT WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 4PM EST.
