Replacement of Building 65 Air Compressors and Dryers at Wright Patterson AFB

This procurement seeks to replace the air compressor system in Building 65 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, led by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/RIZ and AFRL/RAVZ). - Government Buyer: - Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/RIZ and AFRL/RAVZ) - Office: AFRL/RAVZ - OEMs and Vendors: - Ingersoll Rand (existing and specified new compressors) - Zeks (existing air dryer to be removed) - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) new oil-free rotary screw air compressors (Ingersoll Rand IRN100H-CC, air-cooled, minimum 400 CFM at 125 psig each) - Two (2) new air-cooled air dryers (minimum 490 CFM each) - One (1) new prefilter system compatible with the compressors - Removal and disposal of existing Ingersoll Rand compressors (IRN100H-CC), Ingersoll Rand air dryer (TS11A), Zeks air dryer (800HSFA400), and associated filters - Installation and commissioning of all new equipment, including piping, valves, electrical, and a master control system with Modbus communication and automated lead/lag control - Training session for up to three government employees (up to four hours) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All new compressors must be oil-free rotary screw type, air-cooled, and not require variable speed drives - Master control system must support Modbus communication and automated lead/lag operation - Delivery required within 10 weeks after award - Small business set-aside - Training for government staff included
