Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue an award to Raymond Chapman (Cage Code: 0MHD0), 1725 Macarthur PL, Vicksburg, MS 39180 on a sole source basis (IAW RFO FAR 13.101(b)) for services leveraging expertise with the Geophysical Scale Multi-Block (GSMB) modeling software to generate models required to support ongoing research at the Port of Nome in Alaska.
In order to maintain consistency with research under previous contracts, this requirement is anticipated to be issued for a follow-on contract for ongoing research.
The Environmental Processes Water Quality and Contaminants Modeling Branch has a need to leverage expertise in modeling using the Geophysical Scale Multi-Block Modeling System to create necessary models of the dredging activity in the Port of Nome in Alaska. This contract is in support of ongoing research and is a follow-on effort to contract W912HZ22P0051.
This acquisition is being conducted under RFO FAR 13.101(b). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541620 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar service. All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
