This opportunity involves the U.S. Air Force at Kirtland Air Force Base seeking a contractor for the design and construction of a complete HVAC system replacement at the West Fitness Center (Building 585). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 377th Mission Support Group, Contracting Office at Kirtland AFB - Key contacts: Contracting Officer Alexander Ramsower, Contract Specialist Joshua Barber - Scope of Work: - Design, provision, and installation of a new, complete Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system for Building 585 - Includes demolition of existing HVAC and electrical components - Electrical upgrades, including installation of a 500 kVA pad-mounted transformer and new equipment yard - Integration with existing building automation systems - Environmental abatement and compliance with all applicable codes and standards - Licensed professionals required for design and construction - Products and Equipment (no specific OEMs or part numbers mandated): - HVAC systems (turnkey solution) - Pad-mounted transformers (dual-voltage, liquid-filled, Sand Dollar Sherwin Williams #6099 color) - S&C PMH-style pad-mounted switches or equivalent - Sectionalizers, concrete pads, electrical distribution manholes, poles, copper conductors (medium and low voltage) - Emergency diesel generators (Cummins/ONAN preferred) - Revenue meters (Honeywell/Elster A3TL, Schneider PM5560) - LED lighting, Monaco Enterprises MAAP X fire alarm panels - Telecommunications infrastructure: single mode fiber (min. 12 strands), CAT 6 copper, patch panels, switches, surge protectors - Services Required: - Full design/build services for HVAC and supporting electrical/telecom infrastructure - Telecommunications cabling design and installation (RCDD-stamped) - Testing, certification, and geospatial as-built documentation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to USAF, TIA, UFC, NFPA, and NEC standards - Environmental and safety compliance, including abatement and third-party testing for certain systems - Cybersecurity compliance for metering and networked equipment - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 238220 - Project must be completed within 500 calendar days from Notice to Proceed - Detailed design submittals and phased government reviews required

Description

Design and Construction service to completely replace the old heating and cooling system in the West side Fitness Center B585. Design, provide and install a new complete Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.

All services and materials to complete the work IAW the SOW.
