Description

This effort includes architecture and requirements studies, system design, and demonstrations. The key goal of this effort will define requirements for how the systems and technologies, which are being developed for commercial and government purposes, could be used to meet the Department of War (DoW) needs for the Rocket Cargo mission.

This effort was competive via ARA FA8650-21-S-9307, Call 003, Rocket Experimentation for Global Agile Logistics (REGAL) Payload Rentry from Space Development and Demonstrations. This was awarded as a firm fixed price contract with a cost reimbursment CLIN. In selecting the appropriate contract type, the contracting officer considered the factors in FAR 16.104.
