Midwestern State University (MSU) is seeking a qualified vendor for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to provide comprehensive fire sprinkler and standpipe system services across its campus facilities in Texas. - Government Buyer: - Midwestern State University, Purchasing & Contract Management Department (part of Texas Tech University System) - Scope of Work: - Annual inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler and standpipe systems - Coverage includes 28 wet systems, 6 dry valves, 4 fire pumps, 23 backflow preventers, and 3 standpipe systems - All work must comply with NFPA 25, Texas state regulations, and City of Wichita Falls requirements - Vendor must be licensed in Texas and provide certified inspection/testing reports - Pricing to be provided per system type and for hourly labor rates - Products/Services Requested: - Annual inspection and testing of wet and dry fire sprinkler systems - Annual fire pump performance testing - Annual inspection of backflow preventers - Annual inspection of standpipe-only systems - Routine and as-needed maintenance and repair services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendor must submit certified reports to the university and city authorities - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; vendor must be qualified and licensed - Contract is time and materials/unit price, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum compensation - Compliance with university quality, security, and subcontracting standards is required - Contract term is three years, with one optional one-year renewal
