North County Transit District (NCTD) is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call plumbing services for its facilities throughout San Diego County, California. - Government Buyer: - North County Transit District (NCTD), Procurement & Contracts Administration Division - Operating as North County Transit - San Diego Railroad - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Watts - Wilkins - Febco - Ames - Rain Bird - Products & Services Requested: - On-call plumbing services, including installation, repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of plumbing systems and components - Annual testing, certification, and repair of approximately 180 backflow prevention assemblies (sizes 3/4" to 8") - Plumbing fixtures, water heaters (electric and gas), booster and recirculation pumps, pressure regulating valves, sewage ejector pumps, potable water storage tanks - Labor for regular and non-regular hours (estimated 1,310 and 145 hours per year, respectively) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must hold a valid California C-36 Plumbing Contractor License or Class B General Building Contractor License - Backflow testing personnel must have valid California/AWWA Backflow Assembly Tester Certification - All work must comply with California Plumbing Code, Building Code, OSHA, NFPA, AWWA Manual M14, and USC Foundation for Cross-Connection Control guidelines - Material costs are reimbursed at cost with no markup - Emergency response required within 2 hours - As-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranty documentation, and compliance with safety and reporting requirements are mandatory - Federal and state compliance, including prevailing wage and DBE participation, is required - Estimated contract value is $1,620,000 including option years - Contract will be awarded to a pool of vendors (primary, secondary, tertiary) - Camp Pendleton base access may be required for some work
