The U.S. Forest Service, Hoosier National Forest, is seeking installation of a new aluminum service utility body on a government-furnished 2024 Ford F-600 4x4 truck. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Hoosier National Forest - Requested Products/Services: - Installation of an aluminum service utility body with storage boxes and integrated headache rack - Service body must support towing 30,000 lb. gooseneck and 24,000 lb. bumper pull trailers - Installation includes verification of operational wiring, backup camera, and fuel filling locations - Truck will be dropped off and picked up within 100 miles of Bedford, Indiana - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the truck is a Ford F-600 (Ford Motor Company is the OEM for the vehicle) - Unique Requirements: - Service body must be aluminum and include storage boxes and headache rack - Must support high-capacity towing - Installation must ensure all electrical and fueling systems are operational - Work must be performed within a specified geographic radius - All technical specifications and requirements are detailed in the Statement of Work attachment
