Description

This regulation establishes tolerances for residues of the insecticide bifenthrin in or on multiple raw agricultural commodities. The petition was submitted by Interregional Project Number 4 (IR-4) requesting EPA to establish maximum permissible residue levels for bifenthrin on various commodities including celtuce, citrus oil, clover forage and hay, coffee green bean, cottonseed, edible podded beans and peas, fennel, kiwifruit, kohlrabi, leaf petiole vegetables, pulses, rapeseed, safflower, succulent shelled beans and peas, Swiss chard, tropical and subtropical palm fruit, and vegetable brassicas. The regulation is a final rule effective June 30, 2026, with objections and requests for hearings due by August 31, 2026.
