Description

The Pacific Fishery Management Council will convene a public meeting to review key management provisions for Pacific sardine in the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan. The meeting will focus on reference points and control rules for a coastwide stock of Pacific sardine. It will be held in person at the NMFS Southwest Fisheries Science Center and is open to the public with opportunities for public comment. The meeting participants will develop recommendations and reports for consideration by the Pacific Council at its September 2026 meeting.
