The Town of Oakville is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of multiple new light duty vehicles. - Government Buyer: - Town of Oakville - Products Requested: - Up to 3 new extended cab, short box compact pickup trucks (4x4 ESOF, gas engines) - 1 new 1/2 ton pickup truck (extended cab, short box, single rear wheel, 4x2 gas engine) - Up to 2 new 1/2 ton pickup trucks (super crew cab, short box, SRW, 4x4 ESOF, auto-locking hub control, gas engines; one red metallic, one white) - 1 new 3/4 ton diesel pickup truck (regular cab, long box, SRW, 4x4 ESOF, auto-locking hub control, diesel engine) - Up to 5 new PHEV type 5 passenger SUVs (three red metallic, two white) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - Notable Requirements: - Bidders must complete the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) registry information form - Bidders must meet eligibility criteria for Made-in-Ontario Vehicle or Ontario Vehicle Producer status - Submissions require a completed Appendix C declaration form signed by an authorized signing authority - The tender is open to all bidders and will be evaluated based on Ontario vehicle production eligibility
