NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The Marine Corps Installation East (MCIEAST) Regional Contracting Office, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of their intent to award a firm fixed-price Contract  to KARDEX REMSTAR, LLC, (CAGE:69785) , NAICS CODE (811310), 9000 Brooktree RD STE 401, Wexford, Pennsylvania  on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,” .

This procurement is to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance and corrective repair services for a total of three (3) Intertex Tire Carousels. Each carousel has its own Centralized Interlock Control (CIC) that manages lift operations. The objective is to ensure all carousels, hydraulic systems, lifts, and equipment required for a serviceable state are maintained in or restored to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications to ensure continuous operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend the equipment's lifespan.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, allresponsible sources may submit a capability statement indicating their ability to satisfy this requirement.Responses must be received at the Contracting Office ,Patricia Quinones@usmc.mil, no later than 12:00 PM EST, 8 July 2026.Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
