Description
Shiprock-Vernal-Hayden Substation HVAC - replace the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in the garage and service buildings at Hayden Substation in Routt County, Colorado; in the microwave building within the confines of Shiprock Substation in San Juan County, New Mexico; and in the service building within the confines of Vernal Substation in Uintah County, Utah. Equipment used for the proposed action includes hand tools as well as any tools required for the refrigerant removal and addition. Work will be completed within the confines of WAPA’s Hayden and Vernal Substations on WAPA lands, and within the confines of WAPA’s Shiprock Substation on Bureau of Land Management-Farmington Field Office lands. The substations will be accessed by existing access routes; no access road maintenance or new road construction is authorized.
