Parks Canada Agency is seeking a contractor for the comprehensive replacement of exterior siding at the Greenwich Visitor Information Center in Prince Edward Island National Park. - Government Buyer: - Parks Canada Agency, including National Procurement Service and National Contracting Services offices - OEMs and Vendors: - Certainteed (specified for Cedar Impressions vinyl shingle siding) - Pre-approved vinyl siding alternates may be considered - Products/Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing wood shingle siding and trim - Supply and installation of Certainteed Cedar Impressions vinyl shingle siding (or approved alternate) - Installation of pre-finished aluminum or vinyl soffit and fascia - Installation of 5" K-style pre-finished aluminum gutters (approx. 1,080 linear feet) - Installation of 3" x 4" pre-finished aluminum downspouts (approx. 630 linear feet) - Color-coordinated trim, corners, J-channels, F-channels, and decorative window/door trim - Membrane protection and pre-finished metal flashings for penetrations and intersections - Roof deck floor replacement (approx. 128 square feet) - Substrate inspection and repair/replacement as needed - Installation of new water-resistive barrier (house wrap) - Temporary removal and reinstallation of wall-mounted accessories - Site safety, environmental protection, and daily cleanup - Unique/Notable Requirements: - 12-month workmanship warranty on installation - Strict compliance with Canadian National Building, Fire, and Plumbing Codes, and Provincial OHS Regulations - Indigenous participation benefits: bidders must submit an Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP), with evaluation weighted 90% on price and 10% on IPP - Environmental protection protocols and waste management, including recycling - All labor, materials, and equipment to be provided by contractor - Bids accepted via fax or email only

This solicitation is for the comprehensive removal of existing wood shingle siding and installation of a new vinyl siding system, including all associated trims and accessories, at the Greenwich Visitor Information Center in Prince Edward Island National Park. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work.
