NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka is seeking to procure a blast cabinet for the US Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka - Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center - Product Requested: - One (1) Blast Cabinet - Includes cabinet, turntable with cart, abrasive system, dust collector unit (HEPA filter), and control devices - Accessories: spare GFCI, nozzle, sight glass, gloves - Features: safety stickers, Japanese display language, vertical lift door, working ports with rubber gloves, replaceable sight glass, LED work light, air blow gun, turntable with cart slide, abrasive spray system, dust collection unit, control devices with safety interlocks, foot switch, emergency stop button - Must be a current production model, new materials, and comply with OSHA standards - Services Requested: - Installation, operational testing, and training for 6 operators and 6 maintenance personnel (in Japanese) - Printed training aids included - Local Japanese dealer maintenance support required - Unique Requirements: - Training and documentation must be provided in Japanese - Compliance with U.S.-Japan Status of Forces Agreement tax exemptions - Compliance with crane safety and operation requirements - Detailed submittals, inspections, and quality assurance documentation required - Only vendors authorized to operate in Japan may respond - Delivery: - Estimated by March 31, 2027; offerors must provide earliest delivery date - Installation and acceptance testing scheduled with advance notice - No specific OEM or part number is specified; technical details provided in attachments.

Description

This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan, as prescribed by DFARS 252.225-7042. Prime Contractors outside of Japan must submit documentation that unambiguously demonstrates the Offer's compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 (e.g. proof of incorporation) as part of their offer.

Procurement of one (1) Blast Cabinet for US Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. See Attachment I -Statement of Work procure one blast Cabinet and Attachment II-Enclosure (1) Sketch of installation site for detail.

Delivery date will be TBD (Provide estimated (earliest) delivery date)
