The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice.The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to determine the availability of a qualified business that can provide high-precision, multi-frequency global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers in accordance with the attached technical specifications (undergoing development, 7 pages) for monitoring surface deformation and detecting ground motions (both small and large) to assess critical hazards to public safety over time scales spanning seconds to years.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code NAICS 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, associated size standard of 1350 employees applies to this announcement.
