The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is seeking qualified suppliers for the procurement of rocket motors. - Solicitation requests either the MT32 Rocket Motor (NSN 1377-01-255-1650, part number 50436-11) or the MD98 Rocket Motor (NSN 1377-01-318-1830, part number 1340-1) - Procurement is restricted to sources with government qualification, as authorized by 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.103-1(b) - Offerors must provide a valid Qualification Acceptance Letter or equivalent, signed by an authorized government engineer - A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is required with all submissions - No specific OEMs are named; only qualified manufacturers will be considered - Quantities are not specified in the solicitation - Unique requirement: Only sources with government qualification documentation are eligible to compete

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award to procure Rocket Motor M32 OR MD98 as follows; MT32 NSN: 1377-01-255-1650 Part Number: 50436-11 or MD98 NSN: 1377-01-318-1830 Part Number: 1340-1. This RFP is restricted to one or a limited number of responsible sources, as authorized by 10U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 6.103-1(b). To be eligible for award, the Offeror must submit a valid Qualification Acceptance Letter, or Government approved equivalent, signed by an authorized Government engineer verifying their status as a qualified source for this requirement.
