The USDA Forest Service, Lee Ranger District, is seeking mowing and trimming services for its Administrative Site in Edinburg, Virginia. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service - George Washington & Jefferson National Forests, Lee Ranger District - Scope of Work: - Mowing and trimming grass, weeds, tree and brush sprouts every other week (estimated 12 times per year) - Coverage includes approximately 4 acres around 9 buildings, parking areas, roadways, walkways, fences, and a dumpster - Contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials - Contract Structure: - Firm-Fixed-Price contract - Base year plus four option years (total potential duration: 5 years) - Work performed during the mowing season (mid-April through late October) - Requirements: - Prior experience and necessary equipment for ground maintenance - Award based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) - Total small business set-aside - No specific OEMs, vendors, or part numbers are mentioned; contractor must supply suitable commercial mowing equipment - Estimated 12 service occurrences per year for each contract period - All technical requirements and deliverables detailed in attachments

Description

-This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract between the United States Forest Service and the prospective vendor

-Vendors will have an active System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov account at the time of award and provide the sam.gov Unique Identity Identifier (UEI) in their responses.

-Payment is only made via the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) at: https://www.ipp.for.fiscal.treasury.gov

-Vendors responding to this solicitation shall submit their quote in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR 52.212-1. Pursuant to FAR 52.212-2, the criteria for evaluations are (1) Price (2) Performance Relevancy Questionaire (Exhibit A). The basis for award is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA)

-This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current version of the FAR and other applicable laws.
