This notice announces a planned sole source procurement by the USDA NRCS for Trimble Access software maintenance and survey/mapping subscriptions: - Agency: USDA, Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), OCP-POD-ACQ-MGMT-BRANCH-FTC, Fort Collins, CO - Purpose: Acquire annual software maintenance and subscriptions for Trimble Access and related survey/mapping software - Coverage: 23 users in South Dakota - Vendor: Sole source to Frontier Precision (Bismarck, ND), the only authorized provider for these Trimble services - OEM: Trimble is the required software manufacturer - Products: Trimble Access software annual maintenance, perspective annual software maintenance, and annual survey/mapping subscriptions - Justification: No other authorized contractors can provide the required annual subscription maintenance - Procurement Method: FAR Parts 12 and 13 (commercial items, simplified acquisition) - Opportunity: Interested parties may submit capability statements if they can meet the requirements - Period of Performance: One-year annual subscription and maintenance for 23 users - Key Requirements: - Must be authorized Trimble provider - Services must cover all 23 users for survey and mapping applications in South Dakota

Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis to Frontier Precision, 1713 Burlington Dr, Bismarck, ND 585404, for Trimble Access annual software maintenance for the South Dakota area.

US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), has a need to purchase Trimble Access annual software maintenance, perspective annual software maintenance and annual survey and mapping subscriptions for 23 users, for the South Dakota area.  No other authorized contractors are available to provide the software annual subscription maintenance needed.

The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES.  Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency.  Capability statements must be received by 12:00pm ET, July 10, 2026, and shall include documentation on the ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements.
