Delgado Community College is seeking bids for comprehensive pest control services across six campus locations in New Orleans and Avondale, Louisiana. - Government Buyer: - Delgado Community College, Purchasing Department - Contact: Adrienne Harris - Scope of Services: - Comprehensive pest control for a wide range of pests: rats, bats, honey bees, lice, hornets, spiders, mice, roaches, flies, fleas, water bugs, silverfish, caterpillars, mosquitoes, wasps, bedbugs, lice mites, gnats, worms, ants, and more - Removal of larger rodents such as possums, raccoons, and squirrels - Installation of new rodent bait stations around building exteriors and in kitchen areas - Mosquito treatments every Friday during summer months using truck-mounted foggers, hand foggers, and chemical sprayers (ULV technology), with chemicals effective against Zika virus-carrying mosquitoes - Monthly service for all listed areas; kitchen areas serviced at least three times per month; additional treatments as needed - Maintenance of log books for kitchen areas and written reports on unsanitary conditions - Requirements: - Vendor must be licensed by the State of Louisiana for pest control - Minimum of six years of experience required - Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations - Safety data sheets for all hazardous materials must be provided - Price increases for renewal periods limited to the Consumer Price Index increase for the prior 12 months - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are specified; open to all qualified pest control service providers - Contract covers multiple buildings at City Park Campus, Ochsner Center for Nursing and Allied Health, Westbank Campus, Sidney Collier Site, Maritime & Industrial Training Facility, and River City Campus
