PRESOLICITATION NOTICE 658-24-102 Replace Building 2 Air Handler Units Salem VA Medical Center (Salem, Virginia)

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia, has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services to complete Project 658-24-102 Replace Building 2 Air Handler Units in accordance with the solicitation and any resulting contract.

DESCRIPTION: Project 658-24-102, Replace Building 2 Air Handlers: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Project 658-24-102 Replace Building 2 Air Handlers as required by drawings and specifications.

Work includes general construction, alterations, selective demolition, and certain other items as indicated in the Contract Documents. Electrical Work; Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project, including lighting, receptacles, data/voice/video systems, fire alarm systems, and associated infrastructure. Mechanical Work: Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required Mechanical construction work on this project, including ductwork, plumbing lines, sprinkler modifications, and associated infrastructure.

The performance period for this project is 480 calendar days from issuance of NTP. The time to definitize change orders after receipt of an adequate change order proposal is up to 61 to 90 calendar days.
