This opportunity is for small businesses to provide construction services for the FY 2023 ERFO Repair Project at Sequoia National Forest, California. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, 7EAW Procurement Operations Construction and A-E Division, West - Sequoia National Forest (Hume Lake, Western Divide, and Kern River Ranger Districts) - Scope of Work: - Roadway and site repair including: - Removal of approximately 1,837 cubic yards of slide/slough material and washout repair - Earthwork, ditch and roadway reconditioning - Reconstruction of 46 square yards of dry stack rock retaining wall (about 82 linear feet by 5 feet high) - Placement of 315.3 tons of aggregate at 16 sites - Placement of 82.7 tons of asphalt at six sites - All labor, equipment, materials, and incidental services required - Requirements: - Contractor must hold a State Contractors License C-12 or equivalent - Compliance with all permits, safety, and environmental requirements - Adherence to Davis-Bacon wage rates and federal construction standards - Estimated contract value: $250,000 to $500,000 - No specific OEMs or commercial product manufacturers are named; this is a construction services procurement - Period of performance: Work must begin within 10 days of notice to proceed and be completed within 150 calendar days, including final cleanup

Acquisition Description  This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.   

Solicitation number 127EAW26Q0047 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for FY 2023 ERFO Repair Project at Sequioa National Forest, California.  

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.   

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237310 – Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction.  The small business size standard is $45M.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.  IMPORTANT NOTES: Please refer to the "Quote Submission Requirements" section on page 23 for detailed instructions on submitting your quote,  including all required documents and information.
