Description

High-Impact Shock and Shipboard Vibration Environmental Qualification Testing 1. CONTRACT TYPE a. Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, Philadelphia, PA intends to award a single indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, firm-fixed price contract providing the services as described in the Statement of Work (SOW), provided as Attachment 1 in Section J. b. The contract resulting from this solicitation will expire when either the ordering term expires, the maximum quantity is reached, or the ceiling price is reached. As stated in 52.216-19, the minimum value of services that must be ordered from the awardee will be $3,000.00. The minimum shall be satisfied by the issuance of the first Task Order issued under the resultant contract award. 2. BASIS OF COMPETITION a. This requirement is being competed on an unrestricted basis. Should the solicitation result in a single offer, the Government reserves the right to re-solicit this procurement in order to enhance competition. b. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, in the Governments estimation, provides the best value in response to the requirement. 3. ORDERING PERIOD / PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (PoP) a. The Ordering Period of the resultant contract shall be from date of award through sixty (60) months thereafter. b. The Period of Performance (PoP) will be determined at the Task Order level, with the earliest expected PoP being six (6) months from date of Task Order award. The PoP of any Task Order shall not exceed seventy-two months from date of contract award.
