The 55th Civil Engineer Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base is seeking to lease one Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle to support fire department operations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 55th Civil Engineer Squadron (55 CES/CEF), Fire Department, Offutt AFB - Products/Services Requested: - Lease of one ARFF firefighting vehicle - 3000-gallon water capacity - 4x4 chassis - Diesel 8-cylinder engine - Minimum 300-gallon foam capacity with F3 foam - NFPA-compliant lights and sirens - Annual maintenance in accordance with FAA 52-10 and NFPA 414 standards - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vehicle must meet specific technical and safety standards (FAA 52-10, NFPA 414) - Delivery to Offutt AFB Fire Department - Annual maintenance included in lease - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named in the requirements - The opportunity is open to vendors capable of providing compliant ARFF vehicles

SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive quotes and is not in any way a commitment by the Government; the 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following services listed below. A future solicitation may be posted based on the result of this sources sought. If you are able to provide fire truck leasing in accordance with the requirements established in the Statement of Need, please submit the requested capabilities statement and detailed proof of ability to meet the needs of the requirement to the points of contact located below. The government intends to award this as a sole source award to Company 2 Fire.

Brief Discription: Unless otherwise identified herein, the contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials and other items necessary to lease/rent 1 ARFF firefighting vehicles as defined in this Statement of Need.
