Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on the Columbia River on June 27-28, 2026, to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment during high-speed hydroplane vessel races. The safety zone covers all navigable waters of the Columbia River near Howard Amon Park between River Miles 337 and 338. Entry into the zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Columbia River, or their designated representative.
