Description

The Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a public meeting. The meeting will take place on July 15-16, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m. on July 15 and continuing through 3 p.m. on July 16. The SSC will discuss multi-year acceptable biological catch recommendations for Ocean Quahog and Butterfish, review recent survey and fishery data for various species, and provide input on assessment timing and prioritization for Mid-Atlantic stocks. The meeting will be held in person with a virtual option available.
