Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA) is updating the Privacy Act system of records USDA/FNS-5, retitled USDA/FNA-5, to include information on persons disqualified from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and households in the Quality Control Universe. The update consolidates records previously covered under USDA/FNS-7 into USDA/FNA-5, clarifies and expands the system's scope, and includes program and technical updates such as adding locations and storage of electronic records. This system supports the administration, oversight, and integrity of SNAP by maintaining disqualification and quality control records. The system will become effective upon publication, with routine uses effective 30 days after publication unless changed after public comment.
