This opportunity is for the full demolition and asbestos abatement of the Bonner House at Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), including Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge and FWS Construction A/E Team 2 - Scope of Work: - Complete demolition and removal of the Bonner House structure at 3664 Cortland Rd, Davis, WV - Asbestos abatement and hazardous material handling for all identified asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) - Lawful transport and disposal of all debris and ACMs - Site restoration, including grading, seeding, mulching, and final cleanup - Preservation of the steel garage and septic system (not to be demolished) - Products/Services Requested: - Asbestos abatement and demolition services (NSN 7540-01-152-8067), quantity: 1 - Removal and disposal of specific ACMs, including: - 12"x12" and 9"x9" floor tiles (various locations, total quantities: 40, 406, 60, 351, 162) - Rolled vinyl floor coverings and mastic (quantities: 88, 42) - Drywall mud (quantity: 1920 sq ft) - Site restoration services (grading, seeding, mulching) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations for asbestos and hazardous material handling - All work must be performed by licensed professionals - Contractor responsible for obtaining all permits and providing a project schedule - Environmental and safety requirements, including preservation of archeological data and protection of non-demolished structures - Work must be completed within 75-76 calendar days after notice to proceed, with no time extensions except for severe weather - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; the requirement is for specialized demolition and abatement services.
