The Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL), 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB, is seeking industry engagement for the modernization or replacement of its centrifuge planetary drive system. - Industry Day announced for Centrifuge Planetary Drive project; in-person attendance only - Project scope includes: - Modernization or full replacement of the ACS6000 planetary drive system - Delivery and installation of ABB OEM parts (ACS6000 retrofit or ACS6080 replacement) - Provision of spare parts to support operations for 5 years - Integration with existing control systems and minimization of downtime - 3.5 MW power output and 45 RPM speed requirements - ABB-certified engineering support required - Contract mandates direct purchase from ABB and use of ABB-certified engineers - No specific part numbers or quantities listed; details in Statement of Work - RSVP required for base access; no virtual option - Project completion required before January 1, 2030

Industry Day Announcement: Centrifuge Planetary Drive When: 20 July 2026 - 24 July 2026 8am - 3pm ET and 27 July 2026 - 31 July 2026 8am - 3pm ET Visits will be one (1) hour timeframes for each interested company.  Include the day/one-hour time slot with your RSVP. Where: Building 850, Area B, 2410 D Street, WPAFB, OH 45433
