Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Whiteriver Service Unit (WRSU), Whiteriver, Arizona, intends to award a contract for fire extinguisher maintenance services. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform annual inspections, maintenance, certification, recharging/refilling, repairs, six-year maintenance, hydrostatic testing, replacement of expired or unserviceable fire extinguishers, and disposal of replaced units in accordance with the current edition of NFPA 10. Services shall be performed for government-owned fire extinguishers located at the Whiteriver Service Unit facilities, including the Main Hospital, Specialty Service Building, Annex Building, Garrett Building, Medicine City, and the Cibecue Health Clinic. The contract will consist of a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. All work shall be coordinated with the Government's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and performed during normal business hours unless otherwise approved.
