Description
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Disaster Management and National Security, is issuing public notice of its intent to modify a Privacy Act System of Records titled Emergency Notification System. This system maintains emergency contact information for HUD personnel to enable emergency notifications involving immediate threats to health or safety. The modification includes clarifying changes to system location, system manager(s), categories of records, records source categories, routine uses, policies and practices for retrieval, retention and disposal of records, and administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Comments on the proposed modification are accepted until July 29, 2026.
