Description
This project involves the full modernization of nine electric traction passenger elevators at the UW Tower complex, including one 23-stop gearless overhead traction elevator, five 20-stop gearless overhead traction elevators serving a high-rise tower, and three 5-stop geared overhead traction elevators serving other buildings. The scope includes electrical and mechanical improvements to update power, lighting, and machine room temperature control to current code requirements. Temporary openings in the hoistway wall and ceiling for Elevator 3 are anticipated to move new equipment into machine rooms.
