The Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority dba GoTriangle is seeking to establish a contract for federal lobbying services. The consultant will represent public transit agencies and local governments before the U.S. Congress, USDOT, FTA, and other federal agencies affecting public transportation. The scope includes strategic federal affairs planning, congressional engagement, surface transportation reauthorization, annual appropriations, competitive discretionary grant programs, federal agency engagement, political and electoral environment monitoring, reporting and communication, federal lobbying compliance, and personnel management. The contract term will span the next surface transportation reauthorization and multiple federal appropriations cycles.
