Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract modification (P00024) under contract N0019-22-C-0004 to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, A Lockheed Martin Company to perform Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) labor efforts that support full operation capabilities of the provided Lot 7-8 Government Furnished Property (GFP) on the CH-53K production line. The contract modification was awarded to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in the amount of $8,726,614 for the total contracted value.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
