The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking to procure OEM marine propulsion components to maintain operational readiness of its vessels. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Procurement Branch 3 (00040) - OEMs and Vendors: - Mercury Marine Division (Brunswick Corporation) is the sole OEM specified for all requested items - Products/Services Requested: - Sterndrive units (Bravo I XR Drive, part number 5E31200UP, NSN 2010-01-618-9465) - Quantity: 20 - Must be individually packaged per MIL-STD-2073-1E and marked per MIL-STD-129R with barcode (ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39) - Magnum Transom assemblies (part number 62000025P, NSN 2090-01-584-2562) - Quantity: 5 - Packaged in ASTM-D6251 or ASTM-D6880 compliant wooden shipping boxes, marked per MIL-STD-129R with barcode - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Sole source justification: Only Mercury Marine Division (Brunswick Corp) can provide the required items due to proprietary technical data and configuration control - Strict adherence to military packaging and marking standards is required - Only official brand OEM parts are acceptable to ensure vessel performance and maintenance standards - No alternative sources or substitute products are permitted

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation of the United States Coast Guard's intent to award 70Z04026Q50248B000 as a SOLE SOURCE award for The purchase of twenty (20) Sterndrive P/N: 5E31200UP – BRAVO NSN: 2010-01-618-9465, 32 TPSB .This determination is in accordance with 13.106-1(b) ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS.
