Description
The ATTAIN Competitive Grant Program provides funding to deploy, install, and operate advanced transportation technologies aimed at improving safety, mobility, efficiency, system performance, intermodal connectivity, and infrastructure return on investment. Eligible applicants include state or local governments, transit agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, other political subdivisions, multijurisdictional groups, and consortiums of research or academic institutions. The program requires a minimum non-Federal cost share of 20 percent, and applications without this cost share are ineligible. The program will award up to $120 million for fiscal years 2025 and 2026, with expected awards of 20 and a minimum award amount of $12 million.
