Description
The Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide high voltage electrical substation services on an as needed basis. The selected contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and technical expertise necessary to perform electrical repairs, rebuilds, expansions, modifications, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and new installations on KUA's electrical system. Services include work on high and low voltage systems, installation, repair, and testing of communications, control, and protective systems, servicing microprocessor based equipment, installation and replacement of substation equipment and instrumentation, cable installation and termination, grounding systems, power transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and other related electrical components. The contractor may also be required to respond to emergency service requests outside of normal business hours and must provide services in accordance with the solicitation requirements.
