THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT
Naval Supply Command Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (NAVSUP FLCPS) is posting a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify currently REGISTERED SEAPORT VENDORS having interest and recourse to provide SUPPORT SERVICES in support of NAVSUP FLC Puget Sound’s Region customers located in Japan.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this contemplated competitive procurement is 561320, with a small business size standard of $34 Million.
The results of the market research may contribute to future procurement process decisions. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding any submissions on the sources sought. Please provide a response no later than 15 JUL 26 @ 08:00 AM Pacific Time.
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
This requirement is for responsive, efficient, and reliable means of obtaining temporary contracted labor support on an as-needed basis to meet the needs of operational objectives in accordance with the draft PWS in support of FLC Puget Sound Region customers such as Commander Navy Region Japan, NAVSUP FLC Yokosuka, Sasebo, COMSUBGRU Seven, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Yokosuka and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC).

It is requested that interested businesses capable of providing the Support Services submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to perform per the attached contract specifications. The capability package must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm’s qualifications to perform the defined work. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this synopsis. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the evaluation.
A. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following:
Name and address of firm Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number Identify firms SBA Socioeconomic status Identify if firm is a certified offeror in SeaPort. Provide contract number for any current or previous MAC/IDIQ awards issued in SeaPort. Provide capability statement of performing the required services in Japan and/or relevant experience in performing efforts of similar scope and complexity. The following Government or commercial information shall be provided for each of your relevant experiences: Contract number and project title Contract period of performance and contract value Indication of whether your firm acted as the prime contractor or was a subcontractor. Brief summary of work performed and how it related to the ocean and river towing services sought by this Request for Information.
