This announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action posted in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207.

The Mission Contracting Office, Fort Leavenworth, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for a Requirement type contract (FAR Subpart 13.503) to provide services for the painting and repairs of buildings at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials in accordance with the specifications provided in the Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238320 (Painting and Wall Covering Contractors) and a Small Business Standard Size of $19.0. The Product Service Code (PSC) is Z2JZ (Repair or Alteration of Miscellaneous Buildings). This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. The contract will be a base year and two option years. This project will consist of the following:

Wood items: fascia, soffits, frieze boards, wrap boards, pilaster/column, pilaster/column cap or cap boards, balustrade, wood windows & frames, porches (and their components), steps, and handrails.

Metal items: gutters & down spouts, doors, door frames, column bases, louvers, standing seam roofs, flashing, exterior piping, conduit, electrical panel boxes, balustrade, railing, security screen/bars, & lintels. Concrete items: previously painted window & door sills, column bases, foundation and foundation caps, and lintels.Replace damaged window putty around glass panes and caulk.Building components to be repaired or replaced include, but is not limited to, exterior wood items (dimensional lumber, hardboard, millwork, trim, columns, etc.), glass & glazing, gutters, down spouts.The Government anticipates an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on Sam.gov website on or about July 6, 2026. A single award of a Firm Fixed- Price contract is anticipated. Sealed Bidding shall be use and the Task Orders may range on average from $2,000.00 to $500,000. The Magnitude of Constructions is between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000.
