Description

This solicitation is for repaving the outer perimeter roadway from the north end of the facility to sally port Gate 3 at IYC Harrisburg. It also includes spreading and compacting millings on a secondary road from the sally port to the grounds building on the southwest end. The project involves approximately 3,000 square yards of millings 3 inches deep and the application of an IDOT approved Hot Mix Asphalt C70 surface course in two 1.5 inch lifts totaling 3 inches of asphalt. The roadway repair extends from the north end of the outer perimeter roadway next to the Employee's Parking Lot leading to Gate 3, and the millings will be reused on the secondary roadway approximately 1,100 feet long around the grounds building.
